Senior Pastor Bishop Mike Wilson

Bishop Mike Wilson has been married to Jennifer for 29 years. They have four children: Deanne, Daniel, Nathan and Thomas and four grandchildren: Zion, Levi, Amber and Raia.

In addition to serving as Senior Pastor, Church of God of Prophecy, Nechells, Bishop Mike also serves as National Administrator, Church of God of Prophecy UK & France.

Bishop Mike has numerous Board involvements such as:

  • Charis Consulting Ltd – managing director
  • Scholar UK (training and development company) – director
  • RAFFA International Development Agency – director
  • Council of Black Majority Churches (formerly Council of Black Led Churches) – trustee
  • Prison Link – director
  • Families or Peace – director

His personal motto is ‘To raise a generation that is morally and spiritually mature, professionally and technically excellent’

Co-Pastor Neville Brown

Pastor Neville Brown is married to Verna, affectionately known as Babs for 52 years and have been members of the church longer. Babs has served the church in a number of capacities including; Sunday School Teacher, Care Group leader, Counsellor and Mentor.

Pastor Neville Brown has served as an ordained Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Minister, secretary of various committees, Counsellor to name a few. For 8 years he served as the National Director of the Golden Agers Activity Band, while serving the local church as assistant Pastor. For 10 years he served the Farm Street church as Senior Pastor, for the past 9 years he has been serving the Nechells church as co-pastor. For over 25 years, he has served the Nehemiah UCHA on a number of committees.

Pastor Neville and Verna Brown’s motto is “to be where the needs are greatest” they love what they do.


Assistant Pastor Jennifer Miller

Assistant Pastor Jenny Miller is married to Howard and have three grown up sons.

She has been a member of the church since the age of 11. She undertakes a variety of roles including Trustee, Care Group Leader, Christian Education teacher.

She also heads up the Social Action ministry, with the understanding that church is not just about what happens within the four walls of a building, she works with external organisations to deliver services to help the community.

Her greatest passion is working with children and helping them to realise their full potential both academically and spiritually.

To relax, she loves spending time with her five grandchildren and watching football – especially her beloved Manchester United.
