I was saved at eighteen years of age, God has given me a love and hunger for His Word, rightly divided. My calling is in leadership, teaching and the preaching of the Scriptures.
It is my greatest joy to see souls accept the Lord Jesus Christs as their Lord and Saviour and to be a part of their growth and maturing in Christ and become God’s influences as salt and God’s living epistle as light.
As Senior Pastor of Nechells Outreach Centre, I serve on the foundation of God’s Word and promotion of the Holy Spirit to build the Church of God and extend His Kingdom.
I am married to Sharon and we are blessed beyond measure with seven beautiful children and son-in-laws.
Assistant Pastor Jenny Miller is married to Howard and have three grown up sons.
She has been a member of the church since the age of 11. She undertakes a variety of roles including Trustee, Care Group Leader, Christian Education teacher.
She also heads up the Social Action ministry, with the understanding that church is not just about what happens within the four walls of a building, she works with external organisations to deliver services to help the community.
Her greatest passion is working with children and helping them to realise their full potential both academically and spiritually.
To relax, she loves spending time with her five grandchildren and watching football – especially her beloved Manchester United.
Minister Les Easie was born in Birmingham UK on Tuesday 22nd December 1959 and has spent most of his life as a member of the C.O.G.O.P. In his formative years, he was taught the ways of the Lord by his beloved mother Lucille Mae Easie and his spiritual mother sister Autense Whittle.
In his mid-teenage years Les was blessed with a musical talent as a drummer and played in a gospel band called The Shylo Band which toured all over the country. He also had the opportunity to play in many District and National Conventions.
In his early twenties during the “Tremor Soul” revivals lead by the late Bishop Sherman Allen, Les recalls receiving the call of God upon his life and responded by becoming a member of the International Youth Mission Team and was sent on the mission field as a support missionary. From then until the mid 1990’s Les led teams of youth to many countries in both Europe, namely; France, Belgium, Holland and Germany and on the continent of Africa to the countries of Ghana, Nigeria, Botswana and South Africa.
Les also specialises in the Retreats ministries and has held many youth and family retreats across the country and in Europe.
Another accomplishment in ministry was the launch of R.I.O.T Ministries in the mid 1990’s which was a youth based initiative that visited many churches in the UK from the north to the south of the country supporting the youth of the local churches with the gospel which resulted in many young people giving their hearts to the Lord and later accepted the call into the ministry both in the Word and gospel music.
Les had been happily married for some 30 years with two children Jessica Jade and Elliot Jordan until the recent and sudden passing of his most beloved wife Elaine June who was one of the first victims to the dreaded COVID-19 on Mothering Sunday the 22nd March 2020.
Les love for youth led him to become a Programme Manager within the Youth Offending Service working to reform some of the most dangerous young offenders in the Birmingham until he retired in 2017.
In studies Les has a BA honours degree in Youth Justice. Also a Diploma in Pastoral Studies and is currently working towards a degree in Leadership and Management.
Les currently worships at Nechells Outreach Centre C.O.G.O.P in Birmingham working with the ministerial team as one of the Assistant Pastors.
Minister Les also serves as one of the European ministers who help to support our 6 churches in France where he makes regular visits to conduct all pastoral duties along with his pastor and mentor Bishop Mike Wilson.
