We support individuals and families through our pastoral care group ministry, where an environment is adopted to provide friendship, social interaction and spiritual development.
Here at Nechells Outreach Centre, the entire membership is organised into Care Groups. We have multiple groups covering a variety of age, gender and geographical locations. Each group meets on a regular basis via Zoom or in person to be better acquainted with each other especially outside of the church setting and other forms of social gathering.
Endeavouring to share our hearts, lives and concerns, especially during this most difficult of times. Praying for each another and asking questions, undertaking the necessary training and development to better acquaint us as Care Group Leaders that we may be more relevant and effective to our Care Groups. Also, to bear each other’s burdens in a confidential praying manner.
We will be persistent learners and encouragers of one another and in the word of God. And with everything we learn, we will strive to love and serve each other and our band members by; meeting each other’s needs, encouraging growth, and helping all to thrive holistically.
Instead, we were like young children among you. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you.
